Bookplaze App is an online self-marketing platform providing tools for publishing, printing, and distributing your work for personal use and/or sale to others. Bookplaze platform includes a marketplace for selling and purchasing books in print, eBook, and audio versions.

This term of use (the “terms of use”) is a binding agreement between the individual identified in your Bookplaze App account (“author” or “reader”) and Bookplaze.

This term of use governs your use of the Bookplaze App digital self-publication and distribution program (the “Program”) and your use/reading of digital content through the App service (all such content, “Digital Books”), however, accessed – via a web browser, smartphone, tablet (android & iOS), or any other internet-enabled device. You are responsible for all activity on the Service that occurs under your account

When and if you register to use the App, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration form (including your valid email address); and maintain the update of your information (including your valid email address) to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You acknowledge that, if any information provided by you is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, you cannot claim a lack of notice on communications we have attempted to send to you that could materially affect your rights under the Terms, and we reserve the right to terminate your access to and use of the Site.

As part of the registration process, you will be asked to provide your first name, last name, email address, preferred payment currency, and preferred language. Additionally, you will be asked to create a secure password. We may refuse any of the above information for any reason in our sole discretion, including in the event that we determine that such information impersonates someone else, is illegal, vulgar, or otherwise offensive, or is protected by trademark or other proprietary rights law, or otherwise may cause confusion. You will be responsible for the confidentiality and use of your personal information and password and agree not to transfer or resell your use of or access to the App to any third party.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and personal information, and for any and all activities (including purchases, as applicable) that are conducted through your account. Our Privacy Policy governs the use and disclosure of any information you provide

All literary works on the App (each, “Digital Content”) are the exclusive property of the publisher or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Access to any Digital Content is available only to readers and is intended only for such readers’ personal and non-commercial use. Readers may not modify, transmit, publish, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display or in any way exploit any of the content of any Digital Content, in whole or in part. By accessing Digital Content from the Service, the Reader hereby acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

The App will be updated over time and the terms of this use will need to change over time as well. We reserve the right to change the terms of use at any time at our sole discretion. We will notify you of the updates by sending an email to the email address registered for your App account.

The Service accepts the following methods of payment: mobile transfer and credit cards (Visa, Verve, and MasterCard). Depending on the country in which you are making your purchase, the following payment methods may also be available: PayPal and Payoneer. When a credit card is being used for a purchase, Bookplaze may obtain pre-approval from the credit card company for an amount up to the amount of the order. Billing to the credit card occurs at the time of purchase or shortly thereafter.

We strive to make our systems and processes error-free and efficient, but we cannot guarantee that they will be, and we will have no liability arising from system or process failures, interruptions, inaccuracies, errors, or latencies. You expressly agree that the use of the App is at your sole risk. Neither Bookplaze, its affiliates nor any of their respective employees, agents, third-party content providers, or licensors warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free; nor do they make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the website, or as to the accuracy or reliability of any information, service or merchandise provided through the App.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Bookplaze and its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, damages, costs, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable lawyers' fees) arising out of your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend your account and terminate the use of the app at any time in the event you materially breach the terms of use. You are allowed to request your account deactivation but do note that the details such as username or email address cannot be reused if you decide to create a new account. We may also suspend your account at any time with or without notice to you, for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination or deactivation, you lose the content of your library. All purchased books in the library cannot be returned or transferred. This means that there is no refund for already purchased books
